This open pavilion near the present entrance was added during Maharaja Ranjit Singh’s rule, in front of the original entrance of Shish Mahal. This pavilion was used as court of justice by the Maharaja.
The marble and red sandstone brackets, marble screens with red sand stone posts in the railing on the roof indicate that these were taken from other buildings.
The frescoes on the north wall relating to the legend of Krishna are the works of painter of Ranjit Singh’s court.
